5 Things to Do: September 12-14

5Things-September12-leadIt’s starting to look a lot like autumn.

Garfield Park Conservatory is celebrating urban pioneer living with a harvest festival while Fear City opens its doors for a blackout event. You can also prepare yourself and your home for cozy nights indoors with a book sale and art fair.

The weekend begins with a remembrance ceremony for the 13th anniversary of September 11, 2001, led by a man who witnessed the events of that tragic day.
