For more than 95 years, we have been providing hope and support to children and families in need. Each year LYDIA serves thousands of children and families in and around Chicago by helping them overcome overwhelming obstacles such as trauma from abuse and neglect. Our programs include: a residential treatment center (home for abused and neglected children), foster care, Safe Families for Children, Families First, counseling centers, Urban Academy (non-traditional high schools in Chicago and Rockford), Learn & Care (preschool) and a graduate training program.
