Bravo began with a wish list from a handful of music teachers. They were asked: if you could have anything for your programs what would you want? From that list, many of our programs began. Since then, they have expanded based upon the needs of the music faculty and administration. Each program allows students access to music education, enhances their educational experience and support the true heroes of the music departments–the teachers. A large part of our mission is “providing resources for well-supervised and creative after-school and summer music activities”. Through our mariachi bands and Bravo Buddies we do this. We also support existing activities within the school such as the JROTC, choir, marching band, jazz ensemble and many individual students. Again, Bravo asks what is needed and then fills that need in the most efficient way possible.
