Describe how your organization lives/realizes its mission.

We live our mission through many of our core values, including: collaboration, action, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). COLLABORATION: It takes a village to solve public education’s complex challenges, and collective efforts can generate lasting impact. We cultivate and steward essential talent matchmaking and talent accelerator partnerships to reach as many underserved students as possible. ACTION: We work year-round to build a robust pipeline of high-potential leaders for our Fellowships who wish to drive our long-term vision forward for all students. We equip these Pioneers with the resources they need to prepare to grow into a lifelong, transformative career in education. DEI: We embrace all dimensions of diversity in our work and seek to model the fairness we wish to see by identifying promising leaders reflective of the communities they serve; partnering with mission-aligned organizations that embrace DEI; and, supporting our diverse Alumni network with the resources they need to grow and advance in their education careers. After recruiting and training program participants (our 440+ Fellows) to complete the EP Fellowship through mission-critical data, operational, and strategic capacity-building projects with school districts, charter schools, and education support organizations, we focus on cultivating an education leadership network by preparing and advancing our Fellows as Alumni to increase their influence and impact in the sector.
