Family Service is an 83-year-old social service agency providing professional responsive services across 62 communities in Lake and northern Cook counties. As our mission states: “We strengthen families through counseling, education, and related support services. We help individuals succeed in school, at work, in relationships, and within our community.” Our response to those in need includes Counseling for All Ages, Senior and Caregiver Resources, and Latino Educational and Other Support. Most services are available at no out-of-pocket client cost. We help build strong communities where residents have the mental and physical good health and educational resources to lead successful lives.
