Jewish Big Sisters

Jewish Big Sisters (JBS) fulfills the emotional and interpersonal needs of Jewish girls between the ages of 8 and 19 through social acceptance, warm understanding, guidance and recreational activities. JBS focuses on: • Forming meaningful one-to-one matches between Little Sisters and Big Sisters • Group activities that offer many opportunities for friendship and discussion During its 95 years, JBS has provided mentoring and friendship to some 9,000 Jewish girls in Chicagoland. A volunteer organization, JBS performs its services without charge and is supported entirely through independent fund-raising and the support of private donors. We welcome new Little and Big Sisters.
