The Mission of Holiday Heroes

Being in the hospital is scary. When Holiday Heroes comes in with a party and a few hours of fun, it helps “take a child’s mind away from the pain, anxiety and stresses of being hospitalized, encouraging healthy social development and better recovery from illness,” Holiday Heroes says.

The organization has partnered with 12 hospitals in the Chicago area, including La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Comer’s Children’s Hospital, Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge, and Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
