Our editors, who assign articles to staff and freelance writers, choose all of our editorial material.
Our editorial staff and writers, our audience and our advertisers generate our content online, in print and at events. Because we want to keep your trust and confidence and never mislead or confuse you, we will always prominently notate any advertiser-sponsored content as such. That is defined as content for which an advertiser paid to produce and/or feature.
We also write about the many not-for-profit agencies and charities because we believe they, like us, want to Make It Better for the communities we serve.
In case you are wondering, we DO NOT sell our subscription lists. We’re committed to guarding your privacy.
We want to Make It Better for our community and all the people in it. We do this by bringing you the most up-to-date information possible, from nonprofits that need your help to restaurant reviews; from important health stories to what to wear this season. You can count on us for timely stories told in an engaging manner and with lots of heart.
