13th Annual UNICEF Gala Chicago
April 25 @ 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
The Midwest Regional Office of UNICEF USA will host the 13th annual UNICEF Gala Chicago at The Geraghty. Funds raised at the event will support UNICEF’s work to save and improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.
The UNICEF Chicago Humanitarian Award will be presented to humanitarian and 3-time Grammy Award-winning artist Chance the Rapper to honor his incredible work for youth in Chicago and around the world. A Chicago native, Chance the Rapper founded the organization SocialWorks, which aims to empower young people in Chicago through the arts, education and civic engagement. His philanthropic work embodies UNICEF’s mission of tenacity and prioritizing a fair and bright future for every child.
The evening will feature interactive UNICEF installations, a seated dinner, live auction and entertainment.
UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories around the world and has saved more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. The evening is a celebration of UNICEF’s work, as well as a tribute to the outstanding humanitarians who make our work possible.
