Above and Beyond Redefining Recovery Gala

The Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center and Free Food Pantry will host its annual gala on Friday, November 4th at the legendary Drake Hotel Chicago. The Redefining Recovery Gala will be an unforgettable evening featuring an engaging conversation with special guest, former NBA basketball star Lamar Odom. The two time NBA champion with the L.A. Lakers, 2011 NBA Sixth Man of the Year, and New York Times bestselling author will share his remarkable story of how he has journeyed through the darkest moments of his life, including almost losing his life to drug addiction.

Some of the most influential and prominent leaders in business and the community will gather for an evening of engaging fun and inspiration as we raise funds for the Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center and Free Food Pantry. This in-person and virtual gala helps us to share globally, how we are successfully redefining recovery and servicing those most in need. People hear about substance abuse and the homeless on the news, they read about it in the newspapers, but they don’t always hear about the individuals whose lives are impacted and how they are transforming their lives and their families to bring love and joy.
