All In Chicago
November 8, 2018 @ 7:30 am - 10:30 am
CommunityHealth’s ongoing All In™ Chicago campaign aims to discuss and generate solutions for providing accessible health care to all Chicago residents. Estimates state that 284,000 people remain uninsured in Chicago, and that number will increase next year when the individual mandate is repealed. Along with community partners, our goal is to make Chicago the first major metropolitan city to have a fully functioning system in place ensuring that everyone has access to the right care, at the right time, in the right place.
The flagship event of the All In™ campaign is a breakfast summit held each November. For the past three years, leadership from across sectors engaged in conversations about the ACA and the importance of data and social determinants of health to provide access to health care for all Chicago residents.
The goal of All In™ is to develop and nurture the collaborative ideas of stakeholders and community leaders, to explore the remaining gaps in coverage, to identify barriers to care that still remain for some Chicagoans, and to discuss ways we can work together to overcome them.
Providing people with the opportunity to be healthy allows them to be better parents, employees, neighbors, and citizens. We are engaging leadership from across sectors to participate in these efforts. Together, we can build a healthier Chicago.
