Chicago Art Library Virtual Gallery Reception and Charity Art Auction

October 29, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Join us for the 1st ever Art Library event in Chicago over Zoom!

The Chicago Art library is a new social enterprise that enables locals to borrow original fine art from local artists. Borrow a piece of art for three months, return it, and borrow another piece- just like a library for books. They are hosting a Zoom virtual gallery reception where they will show you how to become a member and begin to have art in your home without the pressure to buy it first. Check them out at www.chicagoartlibrary.com

The event will take place over Zoom. You will have the opportunity to meet and talk with several of the local artists contributing art for you to enjoy in your homes, and there will be a special art auction to support the LOUD Art Society at the end!

The LOUD (Let Optimism Unleash Dreams) Art Society – a nonprofit organization that enhances health through art & creativity. Led by Canadian artist Tara Vahab, they promote positive psychology, art & creative practices as a way to improve emotional intelligence. Check them out at www.loudartsociety.com
