Chicago Lights’ 29th Annual Gala of Hope, March 4, 2022
March 4 @ 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Chicago Lights, a leading youth development and social services organization, invites Chicagoans to the Gala of Hope celebration. This year’s event supports programs benefiting youth and adults throughout Chicagoland who continue to face many hardships during the ongoing pandemic. Chicago Lights’ programs break down social and economic barriers to build brighter futures for all Chicagoans. The organization creates opportunities for youth and adults through its tutoring program, urban farm, dance academy, and social service center.
This year’s Gala of Hope will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago (160 E Pearson St., Chicago, IL 60611) on Friday, March 4th. The signature annual event kicks off with a cocktail hour starting at 5:30 p.m., with celebrations and entertainment throughout the evening, lasting until 11:30 p.m.
“Over the last two years, we have seen firsthand how the pandemic has impacted Chicago-area residents, especially those struggling to meet basic needs,” said Chicago Lights’ Executive Director Stacy Jackson. “Our programming helps Chicagoans make strides toward longer term goals related to education, health, housing, and employment. It is vital that we continue to support programs helping individuals and families overcome systemically inequitable cycles.”
Funds raised at Chicago Lights’ premier fundraising event support five outreach initiatives of Chicago Lights: Tutoring, Summer Day Program, the Dance Academy, the Urban Farm, and the Elam Davies Social Service Center. Chicago Lights also provides mental health services through the Replogle Center for Counseling and Well-Being. At its last in-person gala, 500+ attendees raised over $700,000 for the organization’s life-changing work.
Individual tickets are $400 each and tables start at $5,000. Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,000-$50,000. In adherence to the City of Chicago’s vaccine mandate, proof of vaccination will be required for all guests attending the celebration.
Chicago Lights is grateful for 2022 partners including Kirkland & Ellis, Ulta Beauty, and Andy McGaan.
