Bryn Mawr Ave, Saturday, Dec. 11 at 3 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 12 at 1 and 5 p.m., and at the College of Lake County’s (CLC) James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts, 19351 W. Washington St. in Grayslake, Saturday, Dec. 18 at 1 and 5 p.m. Both events will be live and sold at a 50% capacity.
Central to the Ruth Page Civic Ballet’s performance schedule is its annual presentation of “Ruth Page’s The Nutcracker,” the popular recreation of the beloved holiday classic. Originally presented at the Arie Crown Theater from 1965 to 1997, the Ruth Page Civic Ballet’s performance recreates Ruth Page’s original full-length staging. Featuring a cast of guest artists alongside an elite company, stunning costumes and magical settings in the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of the Sweets, these performances promise world-class entertainment and holiday joy for children of all ages.
Tickets for the NEIU performance are $40 for general admission, $25 for seniors, students and children under the age of 12 years, $10 for NEIU faculty and staff (one ticket per I.D), and $5 for NEIU students (one ticket per I.D). Tickets can be found at neiu.edu/tickets.
Tickets for the CLC performances are $25 for general admission, $22 for seniors, $20 for faculty/alumni/staff, $15 for students and $10 for children up to age 12. Call (847) 543-2300 or email [email protected] to purchase tickets for the Grayslake engagement.
