Creating Character Class

This course is designed for students 9+ who are interested in acting. Students will have fun creating two different characters in this four week quick course. Students will explore moving in different ways, playing with different voices, and interacting in styles that make sense to their character. The final class will conclude with a short character party where students will have a chance to act like their characters while interacting with fellow students and any family that would like to meet this new character in their life. Students will be encouraged to begin exploring memorizing lines as some short pieces of text are played with in relation to the created characters. Cost is $140. Scholarships available.
