Discover Symphony Presents Clarinet Times Two

Discover Symphony, the next generation of the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra, will perform its final concert, Clarinet Times Two, on Sunday August 28 at Schram Memorial Chapel at 1799 Patriot Boulevard in Glenview at 3 p.m. Long-time Principal Clarinetist Doug Broderick will be joined by James Sanders and Tamara Glassburg playing violin, Terese Parisoli playing viola and Ron Chambers playing cello. The performance will feature Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet, the first known work written for clarinet and string quartet, followed by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Clarinet Quintet, a work that was written as a challenge to Brahms’s quintet.
