Free Street Theater Presents Family-Friendly “A Mild Goose Chase” at Night Out in the Parks, July 26-29
July 26 @ 6:00 pm - July 29 @ 8:00 pmFree
Free Street Theater is proud to announce an all-ages summer performance, A Mild Goose Chase, July 26 – 29, as part of Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, supported by the Mayor’s Office and Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
Since the launch of Night Out in the Parks in 2013, Free Street Theater has annually presented original family-friendly plays that have told stories about our city. This summer is no different as Free Street, in partnership with The Chi Clowns presents A Mild Goose Chase, an exploration of grief that asks “What do we gain when we experience loss?” Audiences of all ages will be charmed by moments that reflect on the beauty of nature in Chicago, such as the parade leading to Lake Michigan with puppets and dancing. Admission to A Mild Goose Chase is free.
This non-verbal and highly physical performance welcomes multilingual and multigenerational audiences and will play in four different parks on the following dates:
Tuesday, July 26 at 6 p.m. at Davis (Dr. Nathan) Square Park 4430 S. Marshfield Ave.
Wednesday, July 27 at 6 p.m. at Gage (George) Park, 2411 W. 55th
Thursday, July 28 at 6 p.m. at South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S. South Shore Dr.
