Guiding Growing Businesses – Pro Bono Small Business Legal Clinic

On Thursday, October 6, lawyers from Neal Gerber Eisenberg, Association of Corporate Counsel Chicago, and Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights will host an in-person pro bono legal clinic aimed at helping minority and women-owned small businesses. The participating entrepreneurs have been referred by the Greater Englewood Community Development Corporation, the Women’s Business Development Center, and Build Bronzeville.
During the event, small business owners will receive free legal advice for their general IP, labor and employment, contracts, or business structure issues. Volunteers from NGE and ACC Chicago will also give brief presentations on IP, labor and employment, and general business topics.
