Holiday Giveback: Free “Blessing Bags” packing event

The NSYMCA’s Social Responsibility Committee is hosting its annual Holiday Giveback Drive and Event! During the month of November, the Y is collecting items for Project I Am to deliver essential items to people experiencing homelessness. Join the Y in the Blessing Bags volunteer packing event on Saturday, December 10. Donations for the Blessing Bags can be dropped off at the front desk of the NSYMCA until December 9. Essential items include:
• Baby Wipes
• Mini-Bottled Water
• Pairs of Socks
• Neosporin Packets
• Chapstick
• Travel-Size Vaseline
• Toothbrush & Toothpaste
• Alcohol Wipes
• Band-aids
• Travel-Size Shampoo & Conditioner
• Washcloths
• Pocket Tissues
• Granola Bar or Trail Mix
• Peppermints
