If there’s one night to truly wine and dine your honey, it’s Valentine’s Day, and what better place to show your love than Chicago’s fine-dining mecca Blackbird? In honor of the holiday of love, Executive Chef Ryan Pfeiffer has prepared an elegant seven-course meal comprised of his celebrated Midwestern cuisine. Diners can look forward to elevated and imaginative menu items including pounded big eye tuna with sea succulents and oscietra caviar, crispy kusshi oyster with kimchi honey and coconut nuoc cham, dry-aged beef tartare with truffled sauce chasseur, roasted skatewing on the bone with baby-q tater chips and more. Pastry Chef Nicole Guini lends her hand to put the perfect finishing touch on the delicious dining experience with a dark chocolate mousse bar with porter pudding, fermented cranberry and sesame.
