You may have seen them on the Kelly Clarkson Show, on WGN or at Zanies, well now you can see them right here in Highland Park – The Bad Momz of Comedy are hilarious as they share their unique perspectives that may have you laughing at the crazy things you thought only happened in your own home, they may make you want to call your mom to apologize and they for sure will have you laughing like crazy!
So, call the sitter and head over to Yardbird and laugh about how motherhood has no comedy boundaries. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 7:45 pm.

Meet the talent:
Dawn Alexander “Dawn B” is a comedian, host, actress, and radio personality. Hailing from Chicago Il., Dawn B began her career over 20 years ago performing at local comedy clubs and bars around the country and internationally. She joined an improvisational group called “Forgotten City’. to put her on the road to being a well rounded comedian.
Dawn B honed her comedic career when she decided to move to New York City. Since, she has performed at premiere comedy clubs all over the globe. Tours with the likes of Donnell Rawlings and Charlie Murphy
Liz Greenwood is a stand-up comic known for her smart writing and dry delivery. She performs regularly all around Chicago at spots like Laugh Factory, Lincoln Lodge, and Paper Machete at the Green Mill, tours and headlines regionally, and has been part of SF Sketchfest, HBO Women in Comedy Fest, and Cleveland Comedy Festival, where she was named Best of the Fest.
Orly K.G. – as recently seen on The Kelly Clarkson Show on NBC – continues to hustle her way into the Chicago comedy scene with her antics about marriage, shame eating, and her constantly decaying body. She’s appeared at Chicago’s Comedy Bar, The Lincoln Lodge, Annoyance Theater, Bughouse Theater, and at her weekly open mic at The Cabin at Old Irving Park. Jan Slavin is a singer, writer and comedian who has performed at some of Chicago’s most popular clubs including Laugh Factory, Zanies, Chicago Improv, Davenport’s, Metropolis and Skokie Theatre, to name a few. Jan is one half of the acclaimed musical duo “The Boomer Babes” along with her musical partner, Pam Peterson. Many of their hits can be seen on YouTube and on their website at www.the boomerbabes.com.
Jan is a doting mother and grandmother, yet has never made her own chicken soup, an omission so great that she expects to spend all of eternity with a nasty cold.
Colleen Brennan is a Chicago based stand-up comedian, actor, writer (Wisecrackin’), producer (Momedians of Momedy and Back Room Comedy @ aliveOne) and podcaster (Defending Indiana). A graduate of the Conservatory Program at The Second City, Colleen also received training in stand-up comedy at The Second City and Feminine Comique. Described as a polished performer, Colleen’s unique, observational angle as a married, visibly stable mother highlights the hilarious details about life as a human.
Colleen has performed in festivals, theaters, clubs and shows all over the Midwest such as: Snubfest 2016 (*Winner – Audience Favorite), Lady Laughs Festival (Madison, WI), Zanies, The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Bar, The Lincoln Lodge, The Foundation Room at the House of Blues, The Comedy Shrine, Tomfoolery Fun Club, The Kates and many more. She has been a guest on WGN’s “Pretty Late with Patti Vasquez” and WCIU’s “The Jam”. Colleen also appears regularly in her car driving her children all around Chicago.
