Special Hybrid Levy Lecture with Mike Nussbaum and BJ Jones
November 29, 2022 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Free
Don’t miss a special performance in person and via Zoom November 29 with Chicago theater legend, Mike Nussbaum and BJ Jones, Northlight Theatre’s artistic director of 25 years. The two will read Pilot’s Lounge, a short play written by David Mamet especially for Mike. The inspiration for the play will be revealed at the reading! The performance will be followed by a discussion.
Nussbaum, 98, has a long career in theater, movies and television, including Field of Dreams, Fatal Attraction, Men in Black, and TV appearances in The Commish, L.A. Law, The X-Files, and Frasier. One of the founders of Northlight back in 1974, Nussbaum was its first artistic director. He is also the oldest equity actor in the country. As Mike likes to say, he is BJ’s “oldest” friend!
This event is free, but registration is required. Register at the Levy Senior Center Foundation website (https://www.levyseniorcenterfoundation.org/levy-lecture-series) to see it in person at the Levy Senior Center OR via Zoom!
This Levy Lecture is made possible by the Levy Senior Center Foundation and Lincolnwood Place, A Senior Lifestyle Community
