The Rush Woman’s Board 2020 Virtual Fall Benefit: Destination Excellence
October 2 @ 6:30 pm$350
The Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center has reimagined their annual Fall Benefit to take place virtually on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 6:30pm. The evening will feature an exclusive wine tasting led by Todd Hess and Veronica Hastings of H2Vino, a musical performance by the Patrick Donley Quartet, a video showcasing Rush and The Woman’s Board Transformation Fund for the Rush University Cancer Center, and more.
Funds raised by the Fall Benefit will support the Medical Center’s community engagement programs, as well as their 2020 principal project: The Woman’s Board Transformation Fund for the Rush University Cancer Center.
Cancer cells don’t shelter in place during a viral pandemic, and life-saving oncology treatments can’t be postponed until a more convenient time. More critical than ever in the era of COVID-19, the Transformation Fund will provide Rush University Cancer Center with the resources to create an extraordinary “new normal” for cancer care across Rush University System for Health. Supporting bold initiatives that aim to reshape the way patients access cancer care, decrease delays to treatment, reduce risk in the post-COVID-19 era, and improve patients’ long-term outcomes, this fund will be invaluable toward delivering on Rush’s goal to become the preeminent destination for cancer care in the Chicago area.
The 2020 Fall Benefit is co-chaired by Elizabeth Bigelow, Wendy Herb & Gwen Geller
