Join us for the first Levy Lecture of Fall 2018! On Sept. 4, author Pamela Bannos will discuss her critically-acclaimed book, “Vivian Maier: A Photographer’s Life and Afterlife.”

Maier, an amateur street photographer and nanny for several North Shore families, never developed the thousands of negatives she took during her lifetime; her talent was only discovered after her death.

Bannos uncovers, synthesizes, and humanizes information about Maier in a way that allows this complicated woman to become understood and her artistic genius to shine.

Levy Lectures are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Just visit levyseniorcenterfoundation.org, call 847-448-8250, or stop by the Center’s office to register.
