Make It Better had the pleasure of sponsoring the Oak Street Summer Shop Around with the Oak Street Council on June 18. Shoppers were treated to entertainment, refreshments and special promotions within participating stores on and around Oak Street. The best part? Ten percent of profits from participating stores went to benefit the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
We loved seeing Make It Better orange lining Oak Street, one of Chicago’s premier shopping destinations. Shoppers enjoyed live music from Toast & Jam DJs, a Shutterbooth photo booth, palm and tarot card readings, as well as champagne, cookies, chocolates and other special treats within participating stores. And eye candy was in no short order between the luxury cars parked along the street and the live models cruising the sidewalks in retailers’ fashions.
