North Shore Restaurant Month: Takeout Edition—Special Menus and Deals in February

This month, you can get a great deal on a delicious meal while supporting local businesses during North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau’s (NSCVB) North Shore Restaurant Month, dubbed this year as the “Takeout Edition.” Running through February 28, the event features over 200 restaurants with special menus and deals on breakfast, lunch and dinner.

NSCVB is doing all they can to help restaurants survive the Covid-19 pandemic, and help recover from the loss the past year has taken on their businesses.

With more than 200 participating businesses, there is something for everyone. A few highlights include:

Di Pescara
Northbrook Court, Lake Cook Rd., and Northbrook Court Dr. Northbrook

“Offering meticulously selected seafood, superb quality beef, hand-rolled sushi, and a satisfying range of Italian and global specialties. Enjoy modern touches to traditional dishes such as Almond Crusted Whitefish and Parmesan Crusted Filet Medallions. Featured wine discoveries sold by the glass. Finish on a sweet note with a Chocolate Mousse Cake or Apple Crostata With Caramel Sauce.”

Edzo’s Burger Shop
1571 Sherman Ave., Evanston

“A homage to the Chicago hot dog stand. Check out the griddled burgers which are smashed thin and, done up crispy on the grill or thicker, juicier char burgers; order a Classic Chicago hot dog, Maxwell Polish or a Sheboygan Brat. Fresh-cut fries in many tempting varieties including: cheese, garlic, and loaded up with cheese, bacon, sour cream and green onion. Decadent hand-dipped milk shakes too.”
