This holiday season, when you shop local, not only does your money stay in your community and help create local jobs, but you also help the environment due to less transportation and packaging. That’s why this Local Treasures Gift Guide aims to make holiday shopping personal, thoughtful, and close to home.

“The Winnetka Store is filled with beautiful, unique holiday fare. Beautiful trees, reindeer, barware, decorations and ornaments. Happy Holidays!”
“I’ve always wanted to be surrounded by tools that look beautiful. I started to seek out those tools early on in my life, keeping an eye out for linens and unique kitchenware whenever I traveled. After writing my cookbook, “A Gift of Cookies: Recipes to Share with Family & Friends,” I began to design my own collection of kitchenware. In the bold floral pattern that’s visible throughout the collection, you can see the influence of the original, signature design that was inspired by a trip to New York. The ceramics are a nod to my love of ceramic kitchenware from Ireland and an example of my approach to home decor: using multiple textures, patterns, and colors for a rich, multi-layered, and unique design. My ceramic measuring spoons and cups are the perfect gifts for the baker who has everything, the ceramic collector, and anyone who enjoys baking and cooking.”
