If you’re like me, you want your children to look like a million bucks this summer without having to spend that much. Lucky for North Shore moms, we have a number of great stores that fit the bill (literally!).
Florence Eiseman Sample Sale: Florence Eiseman is a Milwaukee-based children’s clothing designer that dressed me when I was a little girl. At least 2-3 times a year, they have sample sales at their Milwaukee warehouse where their clothes are marked down between 50-70%. It’s well worth the drive.

Carter’s: Carter’s outlet stores have long been the “go-to” place to outfit babies and toddlers. Always expanding their lines of mix-and-match knitwear, Carter’s now has an online store. “Friend” Carter’s on Facebook to receive additional coupons and savings opportunities.

Children’s Place: If you’re trying to outfit a number of children in coordinating outfits, this is the place to be! From baby to size 14 for boys and girls, Children’s Place has play and special occasion clothes at ridiculously low prices. The quality can be hit or miss, but it’s definitely worth a visit. You can find their store at Deer Park, Hawthorn Center, and Old Orchard.
Gymboree: It’s hard to come by a children’s store that introduces more lines (including the outfit pictured above) per season than Gymboree. And with this great turnover, comes the opportunity for even greater savings. Ask about their Gymbucks program and watch your savings grow! Located at Old Orchard, Deer Park, Hawthorn Center, and Northbrook Court.
Lands’ End: Lands’ End is where quality and great prices go hand-in-hand. And if you’re not happy with a purchase, they will take it back! Hands down, Lands’ End has the best swimwear and outerwear for kids in the market. While Lands’ End has the most extensive selection of children’s clothes in its online store, you can also find their clothes at the Lands’ End Inlet or at your local Sears.

Carter’s, Children’s Place, Gap, Gymboree, J.Crew (crewcuts), OshKosh B’Gosh, Old Navy, and Stride Rite all have deals just wanting to be discovered. Visit their websites before you visit for additional savings promotions.
