One long standing relationship we value is with PowerHouse SMART® and Wendy Cohen – a former Executive Board Member of Designs for Dignity. We have been the proud beneficiary of the PowerHouse SMART® Luxury Conference for the past four years – an amazing networking and educational event gathering luxury design/build and real estate professionals from around the world. In our 20-year history, we have forged relationships within the industry to support our work with hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout greater Chicago and beyond.
2020 marked 20 years of Designs for Dignity. Every May, we host Spirit of Design. This year we were recognized by Better as Best Fundraiser (City)! Our charity was showcased in their 2020 Philanthropy Issue as well. This year our plans for Spirit of Design were thwarted by Covid-19 – but rest assured – Designs for Dignity pivoted to host a virtual fundraiser September 30th raising key dollars to continue our mission of empowering lives through design.
In 2021, we will once again be the charity partner for the PowerHouse SMART® Luxury Conference! We hope readers will buy tickets and support Designs for Dignity and virtually attend along with other luxury consumers and professionals. We value our partnership as this conference raises vital funds to support our work. Designs for Dignity, PowerHouse SMART® and The Better Media Group are always looking for ways to collaborate for the greater good of our community. We look forward to doing more in 2021 and beyond!
