Better Makers: PAWS Chicago Glenn L. Felner North Shore Adoption Center

PAWS Chicago (Pets Are Worth Saving) celebrated the official naming of the PAWS Chicago Glenn L. Felner North Shore Adoption Center on Sept. 10 with a private reception. The reception took place at the organization’s first satellite location, which opened as part of the Highland Park Petco this past December. Glenn L. Felner, the center’s namesake, pledged $1,000,000 to save the lives of homeless pets. Felner is a Glencoe native and adopted his pup, Patch, through the organization last year.

PAWS is looking for new members to join the “Friends of the North Shore Adoption Center,” a donor group that provides vital annual operational support for the new Glenn L. Felner North Shore Adoption Center. For more information, visit pawschicago.org/northshore or call 773-843-2500.
