WGN’s Micah Materre

On Oct. 1, A Silver Lining Foundation (ASLF) held the 12th annual “A Sterling Event” at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. More than 400 guests raised $300,000 to support ASLF programs, including Buy A Mom A Mammogram®.

The vision of ASLF “is to ensure that socioeconomic status does not affect an individual’s ability to obtain information, timely cancer screening and diagnosis.” Learn more about the organization and how you can donate here.
