Renee Crown Chicago Powerful Women

Renée Crown is a founding member and former president of the Women’s Board of Northwestern University and is a life director of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and a past chairman of its Chicago board.

She serves on the boards of WTTW/Channel 11 Public Television, the Bernardin Center at Catholic Theological Union, the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, the Chicago Lyric Opera Women’s Board (a past president) and retired from the Field Museum of Natural History Women’s Board. She was Honorary Chair of the Board of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation, is Emeritus member of the Board of Trustees of Syracuse University, and presently serves on the University’s Visiting Committee for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Mrs. Crown and her husband have seven children, 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
