What: The 9th annual Dancing with Chicago Celebrities event, a star-studded charity ball presented by Arthur Murray, is committed to fighting breast cancer in the Chicagoland area. Over the past seven years, the event has donated more than $1 million to innovative research and support.

Where: Hyatt Regency, Chicago

When: Friday, March 7, 6 p.m.

The Mission: This year’s Dancing with Chicago Celebrities event will bring together WGN’s Dina Bair, Windy City Live’s Val Warner, former Chicago Bear Desmond Clark and many other hometown celebrities to strut their stuff in the ballroom. All net proceeds from the event are donated to deserving charity organizations fighting breast cancer. This year’s primary beneficiary is the Northwestern Memorial Foundation, with funds directed to an innovative research effort supporting a breast cancer vaccine trial. Additional funds will be directed to Imerman Angels, which pairs individuals fighting cancer with survivors.

Make It Better will be out in full force to celebrate Susan and the life-altering work the event is funding. If you’d like to join us as we walk down the pink carpet in support of Susan, tickets are still available and can be purchased at the event website. You can also donate directly to the event here. To make sure your ticket purchase or donation counts toward the MVP Award, choose Susan’s name from the pull-down menu on the online payment form.
