Robin Doerge loves accessories. And when she came to the photo shoot, we all loved her accessories, too. (Check out her great shoes!)
But even though her heels are high, Robin is practical and down-to-earth when it comes to her charitable causes. This past June, Robin chaired the Shedd Aquarium’s Beluga Ball for more than 900 museum supporters.
“I grew up in Chicago and it was always one of my favorites, so when the time was right … ” she jumped in and took on the big job of organizing and leading the aquarium’s biggest fundraiser.
Robin is also active closer to home: She has been a PTO chair and active volunteer at her three children’s schools, and also serves on the district’s steering committee. She and her husband support Children’s Memorial Hospital; her husband, Jack, is on its board.
Along with great accessories, Robin looks for clothes that are “unique, but comfortable.” The dress she’s wearing is by Robert Rodriguez. “It’s all about the fit and finding a good price point,” she says. “Something that I think is a good value.”
