Metropolitan Family Services Evanston/Skokie Valley held this year’s Spring Fever benefit on April 21. The event brought 150 guests to the Evanston Golf Club to honor former Evanston Mayor Jay Lytle and his wife, Bonnie, for their continued support to Metropolitan’s mission and efforts. The Family Support and Prevention Program was also highlighted for its strong relationship with the City of Evanston. The City and its Mental Health Board have continued to fund the Program, which is offered to families free of charge.
Spring Fever raised $40,000 for Metropolitan’s programs and services for local families. The lively evening was filled with music from Northwestern Music Student Alvin Cobb, raffles, games, and a program auction.
