Celebrating 90 Years of Style

The Lake Forest Shop has been bringing high fashion and international style to the North Shore since 1922.

Ellen Stirling, the owner of The Lake Forest Shop and the granddaughter of the Chicago socialite that founded it, comes from a long line of fashion lovers. Her uncle Condé Nast built Vogue into the major fashion magazine that it is today, and her aunt Nancy Talbot founded Talbot’s Clothing and Apparel. She continues the family tradition by providing chic designer clothing for every occasion.

To celebrate their 90th anniversary, The Lake Forest Shop is hosting a Fashion Week showcasing some of the hottest designers from around the world. The event, which goes from February 7th through the 11th, will feature brands such as Jarbo and Talbot Runhof. It is the perfect opportunity to snag that perfect piece for your wardrobe for those of us who can’t make it to the spring fashion weeks in New York and Paris.
