Busy Schedule? There’s Always Time for Music

When it comes to finding activities for your child, scheduling can be a hurdle.

That’s why The Youth Choral Theater’s high-energy classes are designed to deliver maximum musical benefits in minimum time.

Each of their award-winning voice training classes is specially created for specific age groups and taught by nationally recognized conductor and composer Paul Caldwell. In just one or two hours per week, your child can benefit from high-quality vocal instruction while having loads of fun!

This September, they’re bringing their classes to the Winnetka Community House. Perfect for any beginning singer in grades pre-K–2, this new class meets on Mondays from 4-5 p.m. They also offer classes for older singers, conveniently located in Wilmette on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Fresh from a debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City earlier this summer, The Youth Choral Theater of Chicago’s 2014-15 season promises to be one of the best yet. Presenting six rip-rollin’, tear-at-your-heartstrings concerts a year, The Youth Choral Theater stands out as a North Shore institution.

And they’re enrolling new singers now for the fall! Check out their website and their videos onYouTube—you won’t be disappointed.

The Youth Choral Theater is Chicago’s pre-eminent, most adventurous choral organization, dedicated to helping kids grades pre-K–12 find their voice and make a difference in our world. You see, we know that our world is really big, and the people who share it speak hundreds of languages and sing thousands of songs…some of them very, very cool. By singing each other’s songs, we learn that although we are different, we are all truly beautiful. And if we, the children of the world, learn to value all other children as beautiful people, we make our world a better place. This is what we believe. This is why we sing.
