Jump Start Art

Jump-Start Art is a “not-for-profit” organization devoted to the gifting of art to individuals who have struggled to overcome obstacles in their lives in order to create a home. JSA was founded upon the belief that a gift of original art has the transforming power to change lives. Artists donate artwork and Jump-Start Art facilitates the delivery of the work to recipients through private and public community agencies throughout the Chicago area. If you or someone you know has artwork that they would like to donate, please make contact via www.jumpstartart.org. They are funded completely by donations of both artwork and small monetary amounts that help cover the cost of reframing, print media, and any expenses related to the events themselves.
