Lift the Voices and Dreams of Chicago’s Youth

Chicago Children’s Choir is a nonprofit organization that inspires and unites youth from diverse backgrounds to become global citizens through music.

Founded in Hyde Park in direct response to the Civil Rights Movement in 1956, CCC has grown from one choir into a vast network of in-school and after-school programs. Today, CCC serves nearly 5,000 students across the city of Chicago.

Our world is facing unprecedented challenges. Like you, Chicago Children’s Choir is working hard to face this time with grace and ingenuity. CCC was founded to unify people during a time of strife, and it is this founding philosophy that informs our efforts now.

We are committed to continue to provide Chicago’s youth with opportunities to connect, learn and engage throughout this uncertain time — when it’s needed most.

  • Help us sustain the 100 percent graduation rate among our high school program seniors.
  • Help us sustain opportunity for program subsidy for ALL CCC singers.
  • Help us sustain the stature of Chicago nationally and internationally, proving to the world that young people in Chicago are global ambassadors.

If you are able, please support Chicago Children’s Choir in lifting the voices of our youth. To donate, visit ccchoir.org/donate.

Open their world with new music, new friends, and a newfound sense of confidence and exploration. Chicago Children’s Choir teaches more than music. We teach kids to dream bigger.

In Fall 2020, Chicago Children’s Choir offers unparalleled virtual programs that allow students to connect beyond our city’s limits, experience essential camaraderie and elevate music performances beyond the traditional stage. Based on health guidelines at the time, CCC may resume in-person instruction next spring.

Students are welcomed to our programs through virtual auditions, available throughout the season. Visit ccchoir.org/join to sign up.
