New Trier Township Food Pantry

New Trier Township Food Pantry

The Pantry is an important service for residents whose incomes do not cover all their needs. Its shelves offer a variety of canned and packaged food, useful paper goods, and toiletry items for all ages. A freezer is stocked with vegetables, meat, poultry, and nutritious frozen dinners.

The Food Pantry is open to qualified residents of New Trier Township, which includes the villages of Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, and Glencoe, plus portions of Glenview and Northfield. In order to qualify for assistance, a social worker meets with the individual making the request and determines if they are eligible for assistance. At that time, the social worker can also inform the individual of other assistance programs.

If you are a New Trier Township resident in need, or if you know of a resident in need, please call the Social Services Administrator at 847-446-8201 for a confidential interview. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. A voice mail message can be left at any time.
