Club meetings lift your spirits – comraderie, laughter and ways to help others are served along with breakfast or lunch. Members pay a buck to charity in order to share good news. Visitors are celebrated.

Want a better world? Ask a Rotarian to help. They routinely serve not only their own communities, but also internationally. Rotary’s mission is to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace. Rotarians are doing such a good job that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation gave Rotary International $355 million with Rotary raising an additional $200 million as a challenge grant (for a grand total of $555 million) to help achieve its goal of eliminating polio around the world.
Make It Better sponsored an outstanding Rotarians contest through all the local Rotaries in our northern suburban footprint. (We had a fabulous time visiting the individual clubs too.) The competition was fierce, and we wish we could have chosen all nominees. However, we are proud to highlight these winners. We hope their stories will inspire others to serve as Rotarians too.
