Just the type of gift I like to give during the holidays or as a thank you, and the perfect place to visit with a friend, by myself or as a special treat with one of my kids. All homemade, local, organic, fair-trade, gluten-free and even vegan drinks, soups, sandwiches, salads, meals and pastries galore.
My favorite treat, especially as the weather gets chilly, is a bowl of soup with a crumbled homemade biscuit and a pot of tea. Turn on the fireplace, grab a good read, hoist a thick, moist slice of zucchini bread and life really is sweet.
