Urban Autism Solutions serves young adults with autism and related challenges with residential, vocational and social programs. Since its establishment in 2012, UAS has served more than 1,000 young adults through innovative, person-centered programs. Students from West Side Chicago public high schools with autism and other learning differences come to the UAS West Side Transition Academy and our 1.2-acre Growing Solutions Farm to gain life skills and prepare for competitive employment. UAS helps job-ready students get their first jobs. Our Network 1212 social programs include a monthly meet-up, a weekly ‘Urban Hike’ and dinner, and other events throughout the year.
