For its second year, the Winnetka Music Festival returned to Chicago’s North Shore on Father’s Day weekend, with more than 40 musicians performing over the two-day festival weekend. Amongst the artists were 28 touring bands and 15 street buskers, all handpicked by music curator Val Haller. The free boutique music festival included three main stages, sponsored by the Chicago Cubs, BMO Harris Bank, and Fields Auto Group. Festival attendees enjoyed local fare and visiting food trucks dispersed throughout the Village of Winnetka.
Performers included ZZ Ward, Cobi, A Thousand Horses, Castlecomer, The Farmer & Adele, James Lanman, Jake Allen, Moonrise Nation, The Blue Stones, Alex Guthrie, The North 41, Walker County, Ashe, Busty and the Bass, Seratones, Andrew Belle, Billy Strings, Win and Woo, Low Cut Connie, The Last Revel, motopony, Hadley Kennary & Band, Brontë Fall, Children’s Theatre of Winnetka, and more!
