The Academy for Global Citizenship has been named the Education winner for the Fourth Annual Make It Better Foundation Philanthropy Awards. A nonprofit Chicago public charter school, the Academy for Global Citizenship is making waves in elementary education, working not only to create a class of scholars that care about their community as much as their grades, but to become a model for educational reform in Chicago and beyond.
