Right From The Start

RFTS provides family support services to at-risk Spanish-speaking families who are expecting a baby or with children up to three years, primarily living in Higland Park / Highwood. The program aims to promote healthy family functioning, healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, and enhance the development of young children. Intervention and prevention-based services are for parents, especially mothers, who may be facing obstacles such as cultural and language barriers, isolation, single parenting, financial struggles, and postpartum depression. Target population: New immigrant families, primarily Spanish speaking, with limited financial resources and experiencing social isolation.
