The ARK’s mission is to help families facing adversity regain self-reliance. ARK professionals, volunteers, and donors provide free, comprehensive services within a framework of Jewish values/laws.

Our approach does more than sustain families through a crisis: it also helps them gradually regain financial stability and achieve their highest possible level of financial self-reliance. Our mission’s central component of volunteerism provides a venue for community members to personally care for their less fortunate “neighbors” in need. The ARK relies on the generosity of thousands of individuals, who provide $3,000,000 in financial support and donate nearly $200,000 worth of food, new clothing, and other items each year.
