The New Foundation Center

Since 1987 New Foundation Center formerly called WilPower has been providing quality comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation, supported employment and permanent supportive housing services to individuals with serious mental illness who live in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago. New Foundation Center was created by parents and siblings so their loved ones with mental illness could live in the community; choose quality treatments and supports and strive toward their life goals. Many had lost jobs, ended their education, been hospitalized, and experienced homelessness as a result of their illness. Today more than 250 adults annually use the recovery services and 49 residents live in permanent supportive housing.
