From December 4th-6th, Table Manners in Evanston will be featuring these elegant plates from Riverside Design Group, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Connections for the Homeless.

The plates are also produced in a sustainable manner. Riverside Design Group is dedicated too being innovative, supportive of their community and sensitive to the environment. Their efforts include operating out of an energy efficient LEED certified building, using recyclable and sustainable materials including glass with a recycled content, and using lightweight recycled shipping materials to keep the carbon footprint low.

butterflyplateAs part of the company’s commitment to community, service and support, they developed Plates with Purpose, a line of plates that raises funds to support vital non-profit community organizations. Plates with Purpose concept was founded by Mary Irwin-Scot and began with a single design in 2004 (a butterfly). The collection has grown to several beautiful designs that raise funding for a diverse group of national and regional non-profits. Riverside donates 15% of the Plates with Purpose to these vital organizations.

For more information, contact Table Manners or visit Riverside’s Web site to see a full list of the plates.
