Nominate your favorite nonprofit for the chance to win a free paint-related makeover, courtesy of Hester Painting and Decorating in Skokie.
What: In celebration of 45 years of service to the Chicagoland community, Hester Painting and Decorating is looking to donate its services to a deserving charity. Nominate your favorite nonprofit organization by June 30, and the winner will be selected on August 31. A selection committee will choose the winning project based on the charity’s level of need, description of the organization, and size of the project requested. Charities must be located in Lake, Cook, or Dupage counties to qualify.
Where: To be determined by the winning organization.
When: Sunday, June 30 (deadline for entries); Tuesday, Dec. 31 (project date).

The organization: Hester Painting and Decorating, located in Skokie, has always made a concerted effort to give back to the communities it serves, helping more than 28 charities over its 45 years of service to the Chicagoland area, including Children’s Memorial Hospital, Misericordia Women’s League, and United Way.
Hester Painting & Decorating has been providing homes and select commercial establishments with high-end painting and decorating services since 1968. In 2006, they received a “Best of North Shore” award in the House Painting category.
